Batting first, England posted a formidable total of 339 runs for the loss of nine wickets with Stokes playing a brilliant knock of 108 runs off 84 balls.
The all-rounder was ably supported by Dawid Malan (87) and Chris Woakes (51) as the Englishmen went past the 300-run mark comfortably.
While chasing, the Dutch were bowled out for 179 runs in 37.2 overs with Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid picking up three wickets each.
