Did Australia beat South Africa in ODI World Cup?

Australia defeated South Africa by three wickets after a nervous finish that saw them scrape over the line with 16 balls to spare.

Having been asked to bowl first, Aussie pacers made the most of the overcast conditions to blow away South Africa's top order. Only David Miller's fighting century (101) helped them post a respectable 212 on the board.

Australia were given a terrific start by Travis Head who scored a blistering 62 off 48 balls. Though South Africa chipped away once the spinners extracted turn from the pitch, Australia overhauled the target, thanks to patient knocks from Steve Smith (30), Josh Inglis (28) and Mitchell Starc (16*) who held his nerve at the end.
