Australia will be looking to right the wrongs of 2019 when they return to Headingley for the third Test of this year's Ashes series.

The match four years ago will go down in the history books as one of the most thrilling and dramatic finishes to a Test in history, with Ben Stokes blasting a remarkable unbeaten century to get the hosts over the line.

This time around, the visitors will enter the clash with a 2-0 lead and will be aiming to gain an unassailable lead to retain the urn in Leeds.

The Sporting News details Australia's history at the ground below.

Australia's record at Headingley

Over the years, Australia have played 25 Tests against England and one Test against Pakistan at the ground.

Of those matches against England, the visitors have come away with nine victories and eight draws, giving them a slight ascendancy, with the hosts winning the remaining eight contests.
