Marcelo Bielsa is bringing his new-look Uruguay to the Meadowlands in the 2024 Copa America.
Uruguay are set to play Bolivia at MetLife Stadium in their second game of the tournament, as Group C begins to take shape. This match follows Uruguay's opener against Panama in Miami Gardens, Fla. and Bolivia's opener against the USA in Arlington, Texas.
Bielsa has called-up a young squad for this year's Copa America, as he turns to players like Federico Valverde, Rodrigo Betancur, and Darwin Nunez. At the same time, Luis Suarez has kept his place on the roster and 31-year-old goalkeeper Sergio Rochet will also be trusted as the No. 1 for the tournament.

Bolivia on the other hand can take advantage of the high altitude of La Paz (elevation: Approx. 11,942 feet) during World Cup qualifiers, but they won't have that advantage playing in the U.S. There are some interesting players to watch out for, including 20-year-old Santos midfielder Miguel Terceros, and Spanish-born Barcelona B striker Jaume Cuéllar.
With so many Uruguayan stars playing in Europe's top leagues, it's a great chance for fans in the Tri-State area to see some top-notch soccer in person.
