Burning Man returns to Black Rock City for yet another edition of the world's most unique, accessible and inclusive arts festival.
With roots dating back to 1986, Burning Man has for nearly four decades evolved from an impromptu gathering on a San Francisco beach with 35 people into a lively metropolis in Black Rock City with 75,000 attendees gathered in the Nevada desert.
Burning Man's founder Larry Harvey created the 10 Principles in 2004 to serve as the festival's bedrock: Radical Inclusion, Gifting, Decommodification, Radical Self-reliance, Radical Self-expression, Communal Effort, Civic Responsibility, Leaving No Trace, Participation and Immediacy.
Burning Man returns in 2024 with the theme, Curiouser & Curiouser. This year's event runs from August 25 through September 2. If you're looking to attend this year, you came to the right place. Here's everything you need to know about Burning Man 2024.

Burning Man 2024 tickets
Traditionally, Burning Man tickets sell out almost immediately. For example, in 2022 tickets sold out in just 29 minutes.
If you don't want to chance it, there are already some tickets for sale on StubHub even before the public sale on February 7.
Fans looking to attend should be all over the FOMO pre-sale event which begins at 12 p.m. PT on Wednesday, January 31 with registration. The FOMO sale actually begins on Wednesday, February 7 at 12 p.m. PT.
According to the organizers' site, approximately 4,000 tickets will be available: 1,000 at $2,500 each and 3,000 at $1,500 each. The FOMO sale limits orders to two passes and one vehicle pass. Approximately 15,000 tickets at $575 each, and approximately 5,000 vehicle passes are available at $150 each, plus applicable fees and taxes.
Of course, if you miss out on the FOMO event, registration for the main sale is from April 10-12 with the sale beginning on April 17 at 12 p.m. PST. There will be approximately 15,000 tickets for $575 each and 5,000 vehicle passes for $150 each.

Children 12 and under still get in for free with their ticketed parents or legal guardians but need to have their own free print-at-home Kids’ Ticket. If you’re bringing multiple children 12 years old and younger, you’ll need a Kids’ Ticket for each of them. A link for Kids’ tickets will be posted here once they become available on July 10, 2024.
