Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Greek national team have a tall task ahead of them on Friday.

The men's national team is 0-2 and sitting at the bottom of the Group A standings. They lost to Spain and Canada in the first two matchups, posting a minus-14 point differential.

As it stands, Greece won't make the knockout round of the 2024 Paris Olympics, sending Antetokounmpo and co. home early. The top two teams in each group qualify for the knockout round along with the top two of three third-place teams.

Their chances aren't quite over, as Greece has one more game to play before the group stage concludes. The team plays Australia on Friday, Aug. 2, in what is a must-win.

The first tiebreaker is head-to-head matchups, which goes in favor of Greece in this case. That would give the men's national team third place in Group A.

Here's where the rest of the field comes into play. Spain plays Canada a few hours after Greece vs. Australia, and Spain has to win in order for Greece to have a chance at advancing.

If Spain and Greece win, Greece will be in a two-way tiebreaker with Australia which has been noted goes in favor of Greece. This will lead to a tiebreaker between the three third-place teams in group play, which will be determined by point differential.

Greece will need to be the first- or second-best team of the third place squads in order to advance to the knockout stage.

If Spain loses and Greece wins, it's a three-way tie that would require a point differential tiebreaker.

Greece currently has a minus-14 point differential, Spain has a minus-5, and Australia has a plus-2. If the three teams tie, it's possible for Greece to have the advantage if they beat Australia by a wide margin.
