Seahawks strength of schedule
The Seahawks have a favorable slate in relation to the rest of the league in 2024. The combined 2023 winning percentage of Seattle's opponents is .488 (141-148). Toughest tests: Other than seeing the 49ers and Rams twice each in the division, the Seahawks also play the entire AFC East and the entire NFC North. That means East Coast road games at the Jets and Patriots while also inviting the Bills and Dolphins to Lumen Field. They also face the Lions in Detroit and the Packers in Seattle.
Biggest breaks: The Seahawks need to take care of the Cardinals in the division first. Then they can get some breaks with the Broncos and Giants at home and the Patriots on the road.
Bottom line: Seattle's schedule isn't fun for the most part, but what happened last season can be deceptive in relation to this season. Macdonald is breaking in a new defense, and the offense is making a transition from Shane Waldron to Ryan Grubb. There will be a few bumps over 17 games, leading to enough of a regression to miss the playoffs again.
