John Harbaugh outta be flying high by now.

The Ravens finished the regular season 13-4, the league's best record, are on the verge of a Super Bowl, and Harbaugh's brother just won his first College Football Playoff national championship (and may even join the NFL, too).

The dancing king might not be one of the most storied coaches in NFL history, but he's well on his way with the Lamar Jackson era only getting better. Can Baltimore get it going against the defending champions in the AFC championship game?

Harbaugh's current story goes through the Chiefs, but Baltimore knows it already has its guy. Take a look at the coach's contract and what's next for the Ravens.

John Harbaugh contract details

Before the 2022 season, the final year of his four-year contract extension, Harbaugh signed another extension, keeping him in Baltimore through '25. NFL coaching salaries are not made public, but reports say the deal was worth around $12 million/year for three years.

It put him as one of the top-paid coaches in the league. With Pete Carrol and Bill Belichick no longer with their legendary teams, Harbaugh moves up the ranks. He's tied with the Chiefs' Andy Reid as the fourth-highest paid coach.

The coaching departures also make Harbaugh the second-longest tenured active coach, having begun his role in 2008. It's no wonder why -- he's the winningest head coach in franchise history with 172 victories, including the postseason.

Harbaugh had near-immediate success in Baltimore. The team went from 5-11 in 2007 to 11-5 in his Ravens debut. They made it to the conference championship that season. After five straight playoff appearances, each of which included a postseason win, it all came to fruition. The Ravens clinched their second-ever Super Bowl in 2012.

Over the next 16 years, Harbaugh's had just two losing seasons and has made it to the playoffs in 11 seasons. It's safe to say Baltimore owner Steve Bisciotti will be wanting the coach to ink his name to another extension again next year.
