Saturday's matchup between the Jets and Panthers wraps up a competitive week of football held in Charlotte. Joint practices featured Garrett Wilson getting open with relative ease, Panthers wideout Terrace Marshall Jr. putting on a magnificent performance, Bryce Young having little trouble against the Jets' defense and the Panthers' defense making life difficult for Aaron Rodgers.
While neither Rodgers nor Young are expected to suit up, both teams will be hoping to lay more of a foundation for the regular season.

The Jets are trying to build off a positive showing in their preseason opener, a 20-17 win over the Commanders. Rookies Malachi Corley (four receptions for 27 yards) and Braelon Allen (six carries for 54 yards) contributed nicely in their first pro action.
The Panthers want to see a better showing after falling to New England, 17-3, last week. As they start the Dave Canales era, health and cohesion are the biggest things for Carolina.
