Lions fans have been waiting for a season like this for quite some time. Head coach Dan Campbell and the Lions are just an NFC Championship Game victory away from a Super Bowl appearance.

Detroit recorded an overall record of 12-5 in 2023, bringing home a division title for the first time in three decades.

In his third year with the team, Campbell has brought a sense of energy and dominance to a squad that looks like a perennial contender.

Of course, all good things must come with a cost, and there's no question Campbell has been paid handsomely for his efforts.

Here's a look into Campbell's contract details as Detroit looks to advance to the Super Bowl.

NFL coach salaries are not made public, but reports from multiple outlets suggest Campbell makes roughly $4 million annually. He's in the middle of a six-year deal with the Lions that he originally signed in 2021.

Campbell's net worth currently sits at about $10 million, according to Pro Football Network.

Campbell became the Lions' head coach Jan. 20, 2021. It was the first NFL head-coaching job he had ever held in his career. Campbell, however, did have a stint as the Dolphins interim head coach in 2015. Before that, he served as a coaching intern for the team in 2010 and coached tight ends for Miami from 2011 to 2015.

In 2016, he transitioned over to the Saints, where he played the role of both tight ends coach and assistant head coach.

Campbell currently holds an overall coaching record of 29-33-1 in the regular season and 2-0 in the postseason.

In his first year with the Lions, the team recorded just three wins. But they've won a combined 21 games in the past two seasons, so if Campbell keeps on this trajectory, it's safe to assume he'll remain in Detroit for many more years to come.
