Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for playoffs.

It's the beginning of the end of the NFL season which means lots of tears, cheers, and free agency scares.

Until we get to the Super Bowl, we need to get through the first weekend of wild-card games. With less time to fit in all the postseason matchups, there's plenty of broadcasting schedule and announcing changes to go around.

The weekend's first game is no exception. Noah Eagle and Todd Blackledge will replace the NBC's usual team of Cris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico in Houston. Here's why.

Why Noah Eagle, Todd Blackledge are announcing Browns vs. Texans

The Texans host the Browns in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs Saturday in NRG Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET on NBC with Eagle and Blackledge behind the scenes, along with Kathryn Tappen on the sidelines.

Why the change in broadcast teams?

NBC is responsible for three playoff games on wild-card weekend: Browns-Texans and Dolphins-Chiefs on Saturday and Rams-Lions on Sunday night. The company's usual A-team of Collinsworth and Tirico will handle the Sunday night game, as usual.

Tirico will also appear on the exclusive Peacock game on Saturday.

Where are Cris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico?

Collinsworth and Tirico will be in Detroit for the Rams-Lions first-round game. For those interested in catching up with the pair, the game will kick off at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday night.

They'll be joined by Melissa Stark on the sidelines.
