It's only the second round of the NBA Playoffs, but the bracket has provided a fascinating series worthy of the big stage.

The game's best player, Nikola Jokic, leads the second-seeded Nuggets against the breakout star of this year's playoffs, Anthony Edwards, and the third-seeded Timberwolves in the Western Conference semifinals.

The series is a rematch of last year's opening round, which saw Denver advance in five games on the way to its first NBA title. Jokic nearly averaged a triple-double in that series (26.2 points, 12.4 rebounds, 9.0 assists per game), though Jamal Murray led the Nuggets with 27.2 points per game.

Murray played through a calf injury in the first round against the Lakers but still managed to hit a pair of game-winning shots as Denver advanced 4-1.

On the other side, Edwards was the driving force behind Minnesota's sweep of the Suns, averaging 31 points, 8 rebounds and 6.3 assists while shooting 51.2 percent from the field. The 22-year-old also posted strong numbers against Denver in last year's series, but will his emergence as the face of the league's next wave of stars help get the Wolves over the hump this time?

Here's everything you need to know to watch the series.
