A whole lot is going on for Rory McIlroy this week. The winner of the past two RBC Canadian Opens has an opportunity for a three-peat at Oakdale Country Club, which may be secondary to the other golf headlines this week.
Away from the course, McIlroy has to deal, at least partially, with the fallout of the LIV Golf-PGA Tour merger. On June 6, the PGA Tour and LIV Golf opted to grill up their beef and join forces, much to the dismay of McIlroy (who still "hates" LIV Golf).

That may not be pleasant for McIlroy, who has become the de facto voice of PGA Tour players. To that end, all eyes will be on the golfer — both for what he does on the course and what he'll continue to say and do off it.

What channel is the Canadian Open on today?

Golf Channel and CBS will split broadcast coverage of the Canadian Open through the weekend. Golf Network will carry exclusive TV coverage the first two days of the event, while CBS will jump in for weekend coverage.
Viewers in Canada can tune to TSN 1/4 and RDS 2 (French language).
For those who choose to live stream the event, there are several options:
ESPN+ will carry ancillary coverage, including featured holes, featured groups and a main coverage feed, all four days of the tournament.
Paramount+ will carry the CBS broadcast on Sunday.
Peacock, NBC's streaming service, will mirror Golf Channel's broadcast.
