After claiming yet another victory in Monza last time out, Red Bull's Max Verstappen will look to extend his record winning streak this weekend at the 2023 Singapore Grand Prix.

The win in Italy two weeks ago saw the Dutchman claim a 10th successive victory – a streak that broke Sebastian Vettel's previous record of nine when he won the World Drivers' Championship in 2013.

Verstappen remains well on course to mimic that title success and claim a third straight World Drivers' Championship, though this race around the Marina Bay Street Circuit won't be without its challenges.

For one, across seven prior attempts here, the 25-year-old has failed to win on any occasion, while last season saw him finish P7 in Singapore – his joint-worst finish of the season.

The chasing pack also seemed to finally be improving and challenging the Austrian manufacturer. That was most evidently seen through Carlos Sainz' pole position for Ferrari in Monza with many expecting to see more impressive running for the Italian team this weekend.

Mercedes, McLaren and Aston Martin all still remain in the hunt, thanks to recent improvements, and Verstappen's teammate Sergio Perez seems to be regaining form after taking three podium finishes across his last four races.
