The Packers and Steelers are on bye this week, taking away only a couple of lower-end starting RBs and WRs from fantasy teams. Appreciate that gift because injuries, inconsistent usage, and tricky matchups will continue to give you nightmares as you try to set your lineup.

As always, RotoBaller factored in usage, matchups, and talent into its Week 6 rankings, and it’s reflected in its “Who to Start?” tool. Check out an example from each offensive position.

Advice below is based on full-point PPR leagues

Start or Sit?: Week 6 fantasy QB lineup advice from RotoBaller

Dak Prescott (@ LAC) vs. Brock Purdy (@ CLE) vs. Sam Howell (@ ATL) vs. C.J. Stroud (vs. NO)

Despite mostly poor play from Prescott this season, RotoBaller ranks him the highest amount this quartet. As bad as he was last week against one of the NFL's best defenses, his outlook is just as good this week against one of the worst. Howell is a couple of spots back in another matchup where he can compile stats. Purdy is behind him despite having a higher floor. Stroud has been great this season, but he brings up the rear thanks to a tough matchup and the likely loss of Tank Dell (concussion).

Start or Sit?: Week 6 fantasy RB lineup advice from RotoBaller

Jonathan Taylor (@ JAX) vs. Rachaad White (vs. DET) vs. Rhamondre Stevenson (@ LV) vs. Jerome Ford (vs. SF)

None of these backs have been particularly good this year, but RotoBaller suggests you stick with Stevenson. He has by far the best matchup, and he's still getting good volume. White, who's getting even more touches, is next despite a brutal matchup. The uncertainty around Taylor's workload has him third, with Ford one spot behind him. All of these backs have relatively high ceilings thanks to their receiving abilities, but they've all been unpredictable this year.

Start or Sit?: Week 6 fantasy WR lineup advice from RotoBaller

Brandin Cooks (@ LAC) vs. K.J. Osborn (@ CHI) vs. Michael Thomas (vs. HOU) vs. Joshua Palmer (vs. DAL)

The optimism surrounding Prescott doesn't extend to Cooks, who's by far the lowest ranked of this group. The targets simply haven't been there this season, and RotoBaller seems to prefer WRs with higher floors. That's likely why Thomas gets the nod by a couple of spots over Palmer and Osborn. Thomas hasn't shown a high ceiling this year, but he's been a safe bet for at least 10 PPR points every time out. Many are expecting that from Palmer and Osborn given the injuries to receivers in front of them, but it's a sure thing with Thomas.

Start or Sit?: Week 6 fantasy TE lineup advice from RotoBaller

Hunter Henry (@ LV) vs. Dalton Schultz (vs. NO) vs. Tyler Conklin (vs. PHI) vs. Zach Ertz (@ LAR)

RotoBaller is all over Ertz, who's also shown a relatively solid floor this season. The rest of the TEs have been more up and down, so despite a better matchup for Conklin and increased role for Schultz, Ertz is still the pick. Henry is a few spots behind him, likely because of his key role in the Patriots' passing game.
