We are almost through to the straight knockout stages of the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 2024. 

After three weeks of action in the USA and West Indies, the last remaining sides are battling it out for a shot at the title.

England and South Africa have already booked their spots in the semifinals, while two of India, Australia, Afghanistan and Bangladesh will join them. 

With the tournament reaching a crucial phase, eyes have begun to turn to the final later this week. Here, The Sporting News takes a look at when and where the 2024 ICC Men's T20 Cricket World Cup final will be held.

The 2024 T20 World Cup final will be held at the iconic Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.

Which teams are in still in contention in the 2024 T20 World Cup Final?

As many as 20 teams featured in the 2024 T20 World Cup. That's the most number of teams that has ever been featured in a Cricket World Cup (ODI or T20I).

As stated above, England and South Africa have secured the semi-final spots until now. All the teams from Group 1 (India, Australia, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh) are fighting for the remaining two spots. The rest of the 14 teams have been eliminated from the World Cup.

Nine venues across the USA and the Caribbean have been hosting the games at the 2024 T20 World Cup. They are:

  • Barbados: Kensington Oval
  • Guyana: Providence Stadium
  • Saint Lucia: Daren Sammy Cricket Ground
  • Saint Vincent & the Grenadines: Arnos Vale Stadium
  • Trinidad and Tobago: Brian Lara Cricket Academy
  • Lauderhill, Florida: Central Broward Regional Park Stadium
  • East Meadow, New York: Nassau County International Cricket Stadium
  • Grand Prairie, Texas: Grand Prairie Stadium
