<p>Luis Alberto Lopez will make his second defence of the IBF featherweight championship by giving Joet Gonzalez the third world title shot of his career.</p>

<p>Mexican Lopez knocked out Michael Conlon in Belfast in his maiden defence in May, retaining the title he won with a decision victory over Josh Warrington in Leeds the previous December.</p>

<p>A 12th win in a row beckons if Lopez can stop Gonzalez in his tracks following the 29-year-old's defeat of Enrique Vivas in a 10-rounder in April.</p>

<p>Gonzalez dropped unanimous decisions to both Shakur Stevenson (2019) and Emanuel Navarrete (2021), failing to win the WBO belt on both occasions.</p>
