WrestleMania, one of pro wrestling’s premier events, heads to Philadelphia from April 6 to 7. WWE presents WrestleMania 40 at Lincoln Financial Field, the first event in Pennsylvania since 1999.
Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will main event both nights. Night one will see Reigns team with The Rock to face Rhodes and Seth “Freakin’” Rollins. Night two will see Reigns defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Title for a second straight year against Rhodes. Rollins defends the World Heavyweight Title against Drew McIntyre.
The story between Reigns and Rhodes is that of two WWE favorites. Considered “the guy” for years, Reigns has not had favorable fan reactions. Rhodes has been welcomed with open arms since leaving AEW. Paul Heyman, Reigns’ manager/Wiseman, has been around Reigns for years and has a history with Rhodes’ father, Dusty. He more than anyone understands the difference between the two.
“Cody loves to stay in the arena after the show shaking every hand, posing with every fan, signing every autograph. If it takes him one hour or three, that's what he's always dreamt of doing, of being the person that they rely on to satisfy that level of a fan base. That's just not Roman Reigns,” Heyman told Forbes. “He's a game-day player. He's there to do his job, do it better than everybody else or anybody else, and then get out and go home. His job is to feed his family, and he feeds his family by being the best at what he does on the face of the planet now, if not ever, he's not the baby-kissing autograph signer. It's just not him.

“So when he's put in the position that this is what a top guy in WWE, in sports, in entertainment, in sports entertainment does, the audience smells it. They go, ‘He doesn't really like doing this.’ Cody loves doing it, so he's much better at it.”
WrestleMania 40 will also see top title fights in Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch, Gunther vs. Sami Zayn, and Iyo Sky vs. Bayley. Logan Paul will be in action, along with the entertaining LA Knight.
