Nick Kyrgios watched on from inside the commentary box as his friend and rival Novak Djokovic overcame a gutsy performance from Taylor Fritz to advance into the semi finals of the Australian Open once again.

The world No.1 is now gunning for a record 25th Grand Slam title and post-match the Aussie just couldn’t help but try to gain any secret for success he could out of him.

Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic reunite at Australian Open with hilarious interview

"I know there is a tree in the Royal Botanical Gardens that you go to, and you hug, and I don’t know what you do," Kyrgios said to a smiling Djokovic. "Can you show me which tree it is?"

"I need to get healthy, because I’m sick of you winning on this court," the injured star added. "I just want to come back once and beat you one time. Show me the tree!"

Djokovic has a flawless record in the business end of tournaments and nowhere is this more apparent than in Melbourne.

The 36-year-old has won all 10 of his semi-final appearances Down Under, while going on to convert at a 100 per cent success rate in the final.

Regardless of which player manages to make it through on his side of the draw - be it Jannik Sinner or Andrey Rublev - Djokovic’s opponents will have their work cut out for them for the foreseeable future.

"I will show you the tree," Djokovic told Kyrgios. "But you can’t tell anyone. It’s a big secret."

"So, what you’ve got to do is take your shoes off and climb the tree to the highest point," he added.

"Then you hang upside down on one of the highest branches for 33 minutes and three seconds…And you will win this Slam."
