The brand-new season of A–League Women is once again here for the 2024/25 season, as Australia and New Zealand's best teams and players prepare to do battle and build on a superb last campaign – which saw several top sides come to the fore in the biggest season of A-League yet.
In a season which saw a much more even spread of points up and down the 12-team ladder than in the A-League Men's competition, it was Melbourne City who finished top of the pile to become Premiers, and qualify for the new AFC Women's Champions League campaign.
However, Melbourne's two-point margin of victory in the Premiership race counted for nothing in the end-of-season Finals campaign, which saw Sydney FC beat the Central Coast Mariners in the last four, before Shea Connors' second-half goal against Melbourne in the Grand Final won it for the A-League's other Sky Blue team – resulting in Sydney becoming the defending champions in a season dominated by the three Victoria sides.

Soccer fans in Australia can tune into every single A League Women matches in the 2024–25 season both live and on demand with a subscription to Paramount+, who are offering a seven-day free trial for new customers on their streaming service.
Both the A League Men's and Women's competitions are available with Paramount+, as well as coverage of international matches played by Australia's Socceroos and Matildas national teams across the new season.
Every A League Women match will also be available to stream for free on 10 Play.
A further 10 matches across the Women's Ninja A League season will also be shown free-to-air on 10 Bold, including one from each of the opening four rounds – with streaming of those matches also available with 10 Play.
2024/25 key A League Women's fixtures
Each team in the A League Women will play 22 matches across 23 rounds in the 2024–25 season, with the top six sides on the final ladder qualifying for the end-of-year Finals series.
The regular season ends on Sunday, April 20, leading into the qualifying and semifinals as the top six is narrowed to the two final sides – who face off in the Grand Final on Friday, May 17 2025.
