The 2024/25 A League Men's season is back once again as the biggest-ever season of soccer in Australia and New Zealand begins.

Central Coast Mariners defeated Melbourne Victory 3-1 after extra time in a pulsating home Grand Final last season to collect their third A-League Men's title, and now as the first ever season to feature 13 teams – with the addition of New Zealand's Auckland FC – expect nothing less than the best as the 20th season of the competition begins.

Auckland FC join the Wellington Phoenix as New Zealand's only representatives in the A-League, and are the first new team in the competition since Western United's arrival in 2019. It's the third attempt at creating a successful pro soccer side in the largest city across the Tasman, after Football Kingz FC and the New Zealand Knights exited in 2004 and 2007 respectively.
