Rookie stars Jahream Bula and Sunia Turuva will cap off an incredible season this October, with the pair included in the Fiji Bati 21-man squad for the upcoming Pacific Championships.

Penrith's dynamic winger received the Dally M Rookie of the Year award in the lead up to the NRL decider, before playing a pivotal role in his side's 26-24 victory over the Broncos to secure their third-straight premiership.

Bula on the other hand was a standout for the last-placed Tigers, cleaning house at the club's awards night, and will likely make his international debut against Cook Islands on October 22nd.

Mikaele Ravalawa, Maika Sivo and Waqa Blake headline a list of NRL players included in the squad, while head coach Wise Kativerata has named Storm enforcer Tui Kamikamica as captain.

After making the quarter-finals at last year's World Cup, the side will be hoping to emerge victorious from their respective Pacific Championships pool, which also includes Papua New Guinea.

If they can topple both sides, Fiji would take on the winner of the other pool containing reigning RLWC champions Australia, as well as powerhouses New Zealand and Samoa.
