And just like that, the 2024 Olympics are about to sunset in Paris. 

There is just one day left in the Summer Olympics, as the quadrennial international competition is set to conclude with the last few medals to be handed out Sunday. The closing ceremony in Paris will officially bring an end to the festivities.

At the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo, the United States won the medal count with 113 medals three years ago, followed by China and host nation Japan.
