Sean McVay is a multi-tasking expert. Not only is he gearing up for the Rams-Steelers game on Sunday, but he's prepping for the birth of his first child.

His son's due date is at the end of October, but he is expected at any time. The Rams head coach confirmed that if his child comes on a game day, he will temporarily hang up his coach's hat to be with his family. He did not detail Los Angeles's plans for coaching should he be unavailable.

“I know he’s active right now. It seems like he’s ready to come at any moment, and so what a blessing that will be and what an amazing job my wife Veronika has done," McVay said.

McVay is confident he won't need to scratch a game, though. His unborn son, of course, knows better than to mess with Sunday football.

"I'm not gonna miss a game. My son knows better than to come during a game," he said.

Who is Sean McVay's wife?

Sean McVay has been married to Veronika Khomyn since June 2022. McVay proposed while on vacation in France in 2019, but the two didn't tie the knot until after the Rams won the Super Bowl in 2022.

She immigrated to the U.S. from Ukraine and 2009. Over the past couple years, Khomyn has been outspoken about supporting her home country, which has been at war with Russia.

She studied at George Mason University, where she received her bachelor's degree in international business. It was there she met McVay, who was an offensive assistant for the Washington Commanders at the time. Khomyn earned her master's degree in global management at Arizona State a few years later.

In 2021, Khomyn announced her realtor business, stating, "Real estate has always been my passion. I’m excited to share that I have decided to step foot into the world of real estate professionals. Cheers to new adventures, challenges and memories!"
