Chiefs rookie cornerback Jaylen Watson apparently took Travis Kelce's message following Super Bowl 57 to heart:

"You gotta fight. For your right. To party!"

Never was that more apparent than on Wednesday's Super Bowl parade, which hailed the Chiefs' 38-35 victory over the Eagles. Watson was seen sporting a bottle of Hennessy Cognac along the parade route as he enjoyed his first Super Bowl victory (and the Chiefs' second in four seasons).

It seems as though Watson fought for that right a little too hard, however, as cameras eventually captured the rookie so intoxicated that he was wheel-chaired off Kansas City's parade float. He took the moment in stride, jokingly blaming Chiefs Kingdom for his hitting the bottle a little too hard: "Y'all were responsible for this."

Watson's tweet was funny by itself, though it prompted several equally humorous responses that showed the lead-up to him being temporarily wheelchair-bound:

Naturally Watson's teammates had to poke a bit of fun at him, including Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes and fellow Chiefs defensive back Juan Thornhill:

(That said, Mahomes doesn't have much room to talk. He was seen fully enjoying the festivities, as well).

Watson committed, as they say, a rookie mistake in enjoying his drink a little too much. The good news: His hangover eventually will pass. The better news?

At the rate the Chiefs have been playing in recent years, he'll have yet more Super Bowl parades to practice pacing his drinks.
