The Tennessee Titans are taking on the Green Bay Packers in the third week of the 2024 NFL Season. The Titans committed to quarterback Will Levis in the offseason but may be rethinking that early in the new year.

Levis has struggled with his accuracy and turnovers. He's also not been able to find his top pass-catchers. Through two games, Tennessee's top wide receiver, Calvin Ridley, has 13 targets but only seven receptions. He has picked up 127 yards and a score.

Green Bay's defense is much improved from last season, and Levis is having trouble finding the best options.

Is Calvin Ridley playing in Week 3 vs. Packers?

Yes. Ridley is active and on the field for Tennessee. He and his teammate, DeAndre Hopkins, have to deal with Jaire Alexander in the secondary, but Levis isn't even looking their way. Ridley had just one target in the first half, and he couldn't come down with it.

Tennessee heads into halftime down 20-7 against Green Bay.

Is Calvin Ridley injured?

Nope. If he is, it is minor, and it isn't significant enough to force him to stay on the sideline.

It isn't just Ridley. Hopkins has two targets but only one reception for six yards. Tennessee's receiving leader in the first half was Josh Whyle who brought in both of his targets for 30 yards.

Ridley got one target in the third quarter. He was able to come down with it and it was a nine-yard gain.

Despite Tennessee playing from behind, Ridley only got one more target in the game. He didn't catch it and

Fantasy football outlook

Ridley was always high risk, high reward. There was hope that even if Levis stunk he would see enough targets that he had a good enough floor to warrant a draft pick. The ceiling was that Levis proved that he should have been a first round selection in 2023 and became the quarterback he claimed to be with Ridley reaping the benefits.

Ridley's average draft position became a combination of these outcomes. He was drafted as the overall WR35 in half-PPR scoring formats, ahead of Jayden Reed and Xavier Worthy, but just behind Keenan Allen and Chris Godwin.

So far this season, Ridley has finished as the WR51 and the WR5 in half-PPR scoring. While there was hope his floor would be high enough for weekly value, the first half in Week 3 suggests that Ridley may be touchdown dependent, which isn't great or reliable for fantasy football.
