Two of UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski's victims in 2022 will meet when Max Holloway takes on Chan Sung Jung on August 26.

Jung, known as The Korean Zombie, was knocked out by Volkanovski in April of last year, and American Holloway lost by decision for a third time against the same opponent three months later.

Of the pair, only Holloway has fought since – returning to winning ways by defeating Arnold Allen via unanimous decision in Missouri in April.

That victory meant Dustin Poirier is the only fighter apart from Volkanovski to have beaten Holloway in more than 10 years and 21 bouts.

Jung's unsuccessful title challenge against Volkanovski followed a decision win over Dan Ige in Las Vegas in June 2021.

The defeat to Volkanovsi took the 36-year-old's record to four defeats from his last 11 fights, including three of his last six.
