And yet Toronto is expected to be merely "conservative sellers" ahead of next week's trade deadline, holding onto players such as first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr., shortstop Bo Bichette, and starters Chris Bassitt, Kevin Gausman, and Jose Berrios.
In that case, maybe Toronto has enough ammunition left to get back into the race, despite being well below the .500 mark.
