It all comes down to this.

The FedEx Cup awaits at the end of the 2023 Tour Championship, and Scottie Scheffler is in the driver's seat entering the first tee box at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. His next win may be his most lucrative, but it may not be his most historic.

It's been a season for the ages for Scheffler. The 27-year-old notched two wins on the calendar this year, but he finished with 16 top-10 finishes this year in 22 events played. Scheffler also didn't miss a cut, and compiled 18 straight top-12 finishes — that's absolute absurdity.

Scheffler has an opportunity to finish the job this weekend, but he'll be chased by Rory McIlroy, who himself is chasing a fourth FedEx Cup championship and a second consecutive. McIlroy thrives at East Lake, and remains the only player to win the FedEx Cup without starting at 10 strokes under.

Expect fireworks in the finale, as players chase a win, some history and a lot of cash.
