The 2024 F1 season returns from a two-week break with the 49th edition of the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, which gets underway at 2 p.m. local time (JST).

Three-time world champion Max Verstappen's so-far perfect defence of his title took a big hit in Australia last time out, withdrawing with brake failure in just the third lap as Carlos Sainz stormed to victory for Ferrari.

With Verstappen and Red Bull keen to make an immediate response this weekend, and Ferrari's Sainz and Charles Leclerc keen to keep setting the pace at Suzuka, we're in for another enthralling day of racing at one of F1's most iconic circuits.
