After long-time manager Jurgen Klopp decided to retire from the sport, the 19-time English champions hired Dutch coach Arne Slot from Feyenoord.
Slot comes in with a good reputation, having led his team to the Eredivisie title in 2022-23 and the KNVB Cup triumph just last season. He has already had a pleasant start in charge of The Reds, with the team picking up wins over Real Betis, Arsenal, Manchester United and Sevilla in the pre-season friendly fixtures.
