Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will look to give plenty of youngsters game time in their opening preseason match against a competitive second-division German side that finished 7th in last season's 2.Bundesliga campaign. It's the perfect chance for young guns to stake a claim for more minutes against stronger opponents later down the line.
Expect some of the regular starters to also get minutes in the legs, as Klopp will want his charges at peak fitness to start the season in order to avoid another slow start to a Premier League campaign.
