Chelsea vs. Wrexham lineups, team news

Maresca has named a squad mixed with experience and youth for the trip to the USA but he is missing some key players who are still away on holiday after Euro 2024 and the Copa America.

The Italian coach will use these games as a chance to assess his options ahead of the start of the Premier League campaign with Raheem Sterling and new signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall set to feature against Wrexham.

Chelsea predicted XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Sanchez (GK) — Disasi, Tosin, Colwill, Chilwell —Dewsbury-Hall, Casadei — Nkunku, Veiga, Sterling — Datro Fofana.

Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson swapped his entire starting line up mid-way through the second half in the draw with Bournemouth and he will rotate again.

The Hollywood-backed outfit are back in the third tier of English football for the first time in 20 years this season and Parkinson is hopeful of completing more transfers in the coming weeks.

Wrexham predicted XI (4-3-3 right to left): Okonkwo (GK) — Evans, O'Connell, Boyle, Barnett — Jones, Cannon, Forde — Dalby, Palmer, McClean.
