As the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 progresses, teams have been fighting to secure their spots in the Super 8 stage.
South Africa became the first team to qualify as they won all three of their group matches, earning six points. Their journey started with a win against Sri Lanka, followed by win over the Netherlands and Bangladesh. Rain washed out the match between Nepal and Sri Lanka, which confirmed South Africa's place in the Super 8s.
Australia qualified after a dominant performance against Namibia. Adam Zampa took 4 wickets for 12 runs, contributing in bowling Namibia out for just 72 runs. In reply, Australia chased it down easily, with David Warner and Mitchell Marsh leading the batting.

India became the third team to book their berth in the Super 8 stage after they registered their third consecutive win against the US.
Co-hosts West Indies scored a crucial win over New Zealand to seal their Super 8 berth.
