Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will host four-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 17.

Both sides are on four points this season,  with CSK sixth in the table, having the jump on RCB at the seventh position due to a better Net Run Rate (NRR). A win for either side would see them jump to the top 5 positions in the league standings.

Virat Kohli has been in supreme form this IPL campaign, scoring three fifties in four innings, and will look to continue his heroics at home.

This will be the 31st encounter between the two sides, with CSK currently holding the bragging rights with 19 wins as opposed to RCB's 10 victories. One bout between the two ended in no result. However, in their last meeting, it was RCB who came out the victors, winning by 13 runs on 4 May 2022.
