The Hundred Tournament is back! The newest format of the game - 100 balls per innings per side - is scheduled for its fourth season in 2024.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) hosted this one-of-a-kind format for the first time in 2021. Originally scheduled for 2020, the format did not come to life until the COVID-19 restrictions were relaxed in 2021.
As the franchises gear up for this peculiar format, Ceterus Paribus:
- A maximum of 20 overs will be bowled per inning, with each over constituting five deliveries.
- The batters would not change ends after an over.
The fourth edition of The Hundred Men's tournament will begin on July 23, with the final scheduled on August 18, 2024. The shortest format in England will be played in the international break, sandwiched between a World Test Championship home schedule.

Seven English franchises, and one from Wales will constitute the roster for The Hundred 2024. The teams are as follows:

What is the format of the The Hundred 2024?
The month-long tournament will have a round-robin format. All eight teams in The Hundred 2024 will face each other once in the league stage. The league stage will be played over 32 matches. The first-placed team at the end of the group stage will get a direct qualification for the final.
The second and the third-placed teams will lock horns in the Eliminator, in a knockout tie. The winner of the Eliminator will face the leader of the group stage in the final of The Hundred 2024.
