Australia begins its T20 World Cup campaign against Oman on June 6. The match will be held at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados.

Australia faced challenges with only nine squad members available for warm-up matches in Trinidad. However, the full squad has now assembled, and this experienced group is ready for the tournament.

Oman was the first team to arrive in the West Indies, landing in Barbados on May 14. They played three practice matches and two ICC warm-up matches, showing their readiness for the tournament. They suffered a very marginal loss against against Namibia, after drawing the match and losing in super-over.

Spin bowlers are expected to play a key role at Kensington Oval. The pitch is dry, favoring slower bowlers. Australia has a 2-4 record at this venue but has only played here once in the format since 2010.
